Acne treatment

Acne is one of the most common dermatological conditions and affects the majority of people at some point in their lives. Over 90% of young people aged 10–20 suffer from various forms of acne. More than 35% of adults also exhibit manifestations of so-called “adult acne.”

Traditional treatment includes various local antimicrobial agents, retinoids, and keratolytics, used alone or in combination. Some forms require the long-term use of oral antibiotics, retinoids, corticosteroids, etc., by medical prescription. New approaches in treatment include local and systemic probiotics, exosomes, polynucleotides, as well as professional therapies.
