HYALURONIC FILLERS
The skin’s structure includes a network of collagen and elastin fibers that provide strength and resilience, and a “gel” of polysaccharide substances—hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, etc.—which are responsible for the skin’s hydration, tone, and density.
With advancing age, lifestyle, stress, and environmental influences, the structure of the collagen network is disrupted, and the amount of hyaluronic gel is reduced. The result is a loss of volume—sagging of the facial contour, sunken cheeks, and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, not only during facial expressions but also at rest, along with a loss of skin density and elasticity.
This is where dermal fillers come in. The word “filler” comes from the English verb “fill”—to fill in, enlarge, or volumize. Hyaluronic fillers fill wrinkles, smooth lines, and restore facial volume to bring back a fresh and youthful appearance to the face. They contain natural high-molecular-weight cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which provides the filler with greater resistance to degradation, enhanced durability, and a higher degree of hydration, ensuring optimal lifting and contouring for a natural result.
